How To Read Faster

              Read More,Know More

Before We Begin: As human being it is
our earnest desire to gain more knowledge. But the only hindrance in spite of having the desire to read, is the limited time of our life. But,imagine, how fortunate we'll be if we can read faster and gain more knowledge. Here are some clues of how to read faster.

1. Mental preparation: Have a mental preparation first of all before you gonna start anything to read.  Try to determine the time within which you are going to complete the text.

2.  Concentrate:keep aside all the other texts while you are going to read a particular text,i.e. concentrate on the text which you are going to read.

3. Use your eyes: you know, our eyes are never less than the most important gifts that the omnipotent has given us. Read with your eyes than with your voice. seeing saves a lot in our memory than speaking. Use your eyes more than your tongue to read a text.

4. Whole becomes single: Try to capture the text at a single time. use your eyes like a camera. Think the whole page or at least a sentence as a single word(although it's not actually).  Swami Vivekananda  once said that he used to read the whole page as a single word. Hats off to his concentration power.

5. Keywords: keywords of a text are as important as sugar in tea. Follow the keywords and try to grasp the matter within minutes. Keywords reflect the essence of a text. so,it is better to run more for the keywords than to run for every
word.

Now,as you have become aware with the tools to read faster,it is up to you how much you will use it to increase your knowledge.
