SSC GD CONSTABLE RECRUITMENT 2022:An Overview
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of BSF, CISF, SSB and ITBP constable posts in forces and via this Recruitment 24,369 vacant constable posts will be filled. Those who are willing and eligible to apply for SSC GD Constable notification Recruitment 2022 Online can visit the official website ssc.nic.in and fill the application form.
The salient features of the SSC GD 2022 recruitment are as under:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted by the Commission only in English and Hindi.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME) will be scheduled and conducted by the CAPFs.
- Admit Card for any stage of examination will not be sent by Post. Facility for downloading of Admit Cards will be provided at the websites of Regional Offices of the Commission as well as on the website of CRPF i.e. http://www.crpf.gov.in. candidates are advised to regularly visit the websites of the Commission i.e. https://www.ssc.nic.in, Regional Office concerned and the Nodal CAPF i.e. CRPF for the updates on examination process and download of Admit Cards for each stage of examination.

SSC GD CONSTABLE 2022 Age Limit: Who are eligible of SSC GD CONSTABLE 2022
Age Limit: 18-23 years as on 01-01-2023. Candidates should not have been born
earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005 in normal course. However,
after relaxation of three (03) years in upper age, the candidate should not have
been born earlier than 02-01-1997.
SSC GD CONSTABLE Educational Qualification 2022:
Educational Qualifications (As on 01-01-2023):
- The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examinationfrom a recognized Board/ University.
- Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as on the stipulated date will not be eligible and need not apply.
- All the degrees/ diplomas/ certificates awarded through Open and Distance Learning mode of education by the Universities .
How to apply for SSC GD CONSTABLE 2022: SSC GD CONSTABLE Notification
Applications must be submitted in online mode at the official website of the
Commission i.e. https://ssc.nic.in .
In the online Application Form, candidates are required to upload the scanned
color passport size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). The
photograph should not be more than three months old from the date of
publication of the Notice of Examination. Image dimension of the
photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). The
photograph should be without cap, spectacles and frontal view of the
face should be visible.
Last date and time for submission of online applications is 30-11-2022
(23:00).
SSC GD CONSTABLE RECRUITMENT notification application Fee:
Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only).
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC),
Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are
exempted from payment of fee.
SSC GD CONSTABLE RECRUITMENT notification Exam Pattern:
SSC GD CONSTABLE RECRUITMENT Exam is divided into three parts:
1. CBT (Computer based test)
2. PET( PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST)
3. PST( Physical Standard Test)
The Scheme of CBT (Computer Based Test) for SSC GD CONSTABLE 2022 is given below.
All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
The computer
based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

SSC GD CONSTABLE Exam syllabus:
1. General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analytical aptitude and ability to observe
and distinguish patterns will be tested
through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities
and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual
memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts,
arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic
number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.
2. General Knowledge and General Awareness: Questions in
this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s
general awareness of the environment around him. Questions
will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and
of such matters of every day observations and experience in
their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated
person. The test will also include questions relating to India
and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports,
History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity,
Indian Constitution, and scientific Research etc. These
Questions will be such that they do not require a special study
of any discipline.
3. Elementary Mathematics: This paper will include questions
on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of
Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship
between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations,
Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit
and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio
and Time, Time and Work, etc.
4. English/ Hindi: Candidates’ ability to understand basic
English/ Hindi and his basic comprehension would be test.
