SADHARAN TICKET BOOKING SEWAK (JTBS) at 146 important serving stations over Sealdah Division,
Eastern Railway for issuing computerized unreserved tickets through Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS).
Name of The Post - Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sevak
Railway administration invites application in prescribed format for Operating Contract of JAN SADHARAN TICKET BOOKING SEWAK (JTBS) for 3 years, for issuance of computerized unreserved ticket through
Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) at nearby locations of following Stations.
Eligibility Criteria for Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak :
1. Applicant should not be under 18 years of age at the time of publication of this notice
and be at least Madhyamik pass or equivalent.
2. Applicant should be residing in the municipal limits of the city /District in which JTBS is
being appointed.
3. Applicant should submit a character certificate from District Magistrate
/ Addl. District Magistrate / Sub District Magistrate / Block Development Officer or
Tehsildar. However, before appointment as JTBS the applicant will also have to
produce a certificate from the Police Station serving his/her locality that no criminal
case is pending against him/her.
4. The applicant on being selection will have to deposit the security money of Rs.25000/-
in form of bankers cheque/demand draft & advance deposit of Rs. 10000/- when
demanded and the cost of materials required for issuing tickets, leased connectivity
line from BSNL etc. expenses will be borne by the selected JTBS.

Sealdah, DRM building, 16, Kaizer Street, Kolkata – 700014 may be dropped in the sealed
box kept in the office of Senior Divisional Commercial Manger, Eastern Railway, Sealdah
From 17.11.2022 to 15.12.2022 between 11.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs. in every working day
and on 16.12.2022 between 11.00hrs. to 14.00 hrs. The box will be opened on
16.11.2022 at 15.00 hrs.

2. Aadhar Card Self Attested
3. Madhyamik Marksheet and Certificate Xerox copies self-attested
